Format
- AutoColor: hardcoded inputs blue, formulas black, cross-sheet links green, external links purple, and formulas hiding a hardcoded number flagged separately.
- Number formats in one click: #,##0, one decimal, multiples (0.0x), margins (0.0%), growth (+/- 0.0%), percentage points, brackets.
- Date formats in English and French, Center Across Selection, grey pattern fill for inputs.
Build formulas faster
- Wrap a selection in IFERROR, IFERROR(…,0), IFERROR(…,"n.a.") or ROUND.
- Insert a CAGR by picking start and end values and years.
- Multiply or divide by a power of 10 to switch units, flip signs in bulk.
Audit before it goes out
- Dependents and precedents analyser: see every cell that feeds or uses the active cell.
- Formula errors: list every #REF!, #N/A, #VALUE!, #DIV/0! and more across the workbook, click to jump.
- Clean up: delete metadata, unused styles, hyperlinks, notes, comments and broken names; unhide sheets; find external links.
- Clean Save: every sheet back to A1 at 100% zoom before saving.
Questions
Does AutoColor overwrite my existing formatting?
It only changes font colour on the selected cells, based on what each cell contains. Fills, borders and number formats are left alone.
Which versions of Office are supported?
Desktop Excel, PowerPoint and Word on Windows: Office 2016, 2019, 2021 and Microsoft 365. Office for Mac and Office on the web are not supported.
Do I need admin rights or an IT ticket to install Plzfix?
No. The installer writes to your Windows user profile only, so it runs without administrator rights.
How much does Plzfix cost?
There is a free tier with a daily click allowance and every tool unlocked. Pro is €10 per month, €50 for 6 months or €90 per year, per user, with unlimited use.
